Rebalancing is the act of bringing your portfolio back to the ideal percentages (targets) defined in Step 5. This forces you to "sell high" and "buy low", keeping risk under control.

What Is the PIP (Personal Investment Plan)?

The PIP is a formal document, in the spirit of an Investment Policy Statement (IPS), that records your goals, risk profile, allocation policy, contributions, withdrawals, and rebalancing rules — acting as a compass for consistent investment decisions over time, even during volatility. Fill out the 12-step form to generate your PIP for free.
